Our esteemed ISAF 2014 participants, which continued throughout the 4 day fair brought together for new products and existing products to their visitors.Arma Kontrol

DSC04167We as Arma Kontrol have been attending ISAF for 6 years. I can say that every passing year the quality of ISAF has been increasing. In particular this year the exhibition is very vibrant therefore we are sure that the feedback will meet our expectations.

As a company one of our intentions is to expand our business to overseas. Therefore I believe that raising more awareness among overseas companies before the exhibition will be better for the next ISAF.

Ninety percent of the visitors are more informed. Our customers who attend are generally vendors so they know our products and we do not have to additionally promote our products. This has been a nice advantage for us.

Swing barrier, rising bollard, road blocker for overseas, spike barriers, traffic equipments are only a few of what we exhibit to our visitors. We in particular show effort to produce products that will not harm the environment. Although Europeans are experts on this business we as Arma Kontrol produce in the same quality as theirs and sell at one third of their price. In general we export to Middle East, Northern Africa, and Turkomen countries, and the exhibition has helped us a lot in this tendency of ours.

DSCN8777ISAF is an exhibition which grows every year. This is one of the most important factors that differentiate ISAF from other exhibitions in Turkey. In particular high number of foreign visitors in the exhibition is a pleasant situation for us like many other participants.

This year as Art System we emphasised our IP technologies in ISAF. As well as IP cameras which we intend them to cover 50 percent of our camera sales in the following terms, we have exhibited to our customers vehicle recognition, scale recognition, car park systems and access control services that distinguish apartment dwellers from the guests.

In particular our own production of Uranium face recognition system that was displayed in our stand has greatly attracted the interest of our visitors with its quality of detecting the age, gender and even psychological situation of a person. Therefore I may say that ISAF 2014 has been successful for us.

DSC_1564My first impression of the exhibition was that the exhibition was crowded, and the high attendance rate of participants. The fact that there were no empty stands means that Marmara Fuarcılık has done a good job on this matter.

As a company that has been in this sector since 1980 we had no chance but attend this exhibition. We started the business manufacturing telephone cables and at the moment we manufacture fire warning cables, camera cables and fiber optical cables. With the investment we made last year under the brand of Atek Professional we import fiber optical and network auxiliary materials from abroad.

Given the profiles of the participants of the exhibition, our products that attracted the most attention were our camera cables and fire warning cables.

DSC_1364ISAF 2014 has passed well for us; the busyness was one we are used to and already aware of. I believe that everybody is content like me.

As Aveka we have been participating in the exhibition for 5 years with products mainly focus on fire detection. And for the last 2 years we have been presenting many products such as CCTV and NSC fire detection systems we recently brought.

It is our 6th exhibition in ISAF with Aveka company, and each year we strive for better like ISAF.

DSC_1302This year attendance in ISAF was higher compared to previous years. I think because of the image of our country the attendance of visitors from Arab countries was high. In particular interest for our brand Teknim which we are the producer was intense. I suspect next year there will be more attendance from Arab countries and Turkic states. As we are a manufacturing company this is a very valuable situation for us to show ourselves in the market.

Thanks to the exhibition we were able to promote and see the positive feedback coming for our brand Huawei, which will be reaching the end user more in the following days with the sponsorship we gave to Galatasaray, and it has been an indication that we are on the correct path.

DSC04200The exhibition has been very enjoyable. ISAF has made us excited as an exhibition where we met with correct people who were professionals in their own areas. Last year we had the same impression, and we believe that we made the right decision by taking part in it this year as well.

We were pleased that most of the visitors were people who were related to their own areas. We have caught many opportunities for sales in ISAF and gathered information about new vendors. Even the end users have come to look at the products and learn about the developments in the area of security and intercom.

Our basic product in the exhibition was the IP intercom products of our 2N brand which are manufactured in Czech Republic.

These are products which provide advantages that facilitate the internal communication both in institutional and individual buildings and the communication at the transit points. As these products operate on IP network they are beneficial in the buildings in particular in cabling. By a single ethernet cable you may both have a two-way visual and audio communication and supply power to devices. Furthermore, with these products that operate like an IP camera you may record images for security reasons via intercom. Our product named Verso has even a night vision capability.

The difference we create is; using a single cable we provide easy instalment and an integrated operation with all other security components.

DSC04164I may say that we have received the interest we expected and wished for in ISAF 2014. As the people visiting ISAF are mainly interested in security sector we were quite satisfied by the profile of the visitors.

We have exhibited our TND brand cameras to our visitors in ISAF, which are our professional IP cameras and which at the same time are placed in the central segment. In addition, we had the opportunity to promote our low to medium segment Cenova brand products and the NVRs of JVD company which we distribute from Taiwan. Therefore the exhibition has been fruitful for us.

DSC04225The group of people visiting ISAF are the people who in general operate in the sector itself. In my opinion the scarce number of end users is another factor that shows the quality of the exhibition.

I think the only criticism I may make about the exhibition would be about the transport of the visitors to the exhibition. A more comprehensive study may be conducted on this matter.

In the exhibition we have displayed products from Samsung and EDS to the visitors. The work we prepared about Samsung cameras in our stand has extremely attracted the interest of the visitors. We have exhibited copies and originals of Samsung cameras in the market side by side and gave information to the users on this matter.

In ISAF we had the opportunity to announce to our customers the support programmes and solution partnership structure of our company. Furthermore, it was a very pleasant feeling to be together with many of our colleagues, to share information with friends who have come to the exhibition area, and to further develop our bonds of friendship.

Fibaro Smart Housing Systems

DSC04194The exhibition has been quite busy for us. The design of our stand was in a way to reflect smart houses therefore it attracted visitors from any profession. Furthermore the fact that we displayed demos of our products in operation in our stand has significantly increased the interest of the visitors to our stand.

In our stand we have exhibited all the smart household products; we have participated in the exhibition with all our products such as illumination control points, brightness adjustment controller, curtain and blind engine control modules, water pumping sensor, smoke sensor, movement sensor. In addition, our most striking system has been our intercom integration; the owner of the house, wherever he is in the world, will be able to see who is ringing his door bell when it rings by his Fibaro application in his phone or tablet and open the door if he wishes.

The fact that we were able to able to display all our products in a functional way was one of the factors of the increased interest to our company as I stated before and the quality time we spent in the exhibition.

Hepsi Security

DSC04241Hepsi Security is both a portal which sells hardware within PCC electronic group and a company at the same time. Our group of products are mainly focused on analogue and IP hardware. The reason for that is that the sector is transiting from analogue to IP. We have Huwatu which is a professional brand for IP hardware, and 3DEYES and ICS brands for analogue hardware.

In addition to that we provide solutions which we call IP COAX that convert analogue infrastructure to IP and therefore we try to support this transition that is very much needed in the sector.

ISAF has been the first security exhibition we took part in so it was important for us. We were content about the quality of the visitors. Furthermore, we were happy to have the opportunity to meet with new companies and create different business opportunities.

Kawai Security Systems

DSC04215Kawai is a 16 year old electronic company. While it has been a company importing audio systems, satellite and electronic household devices, in the last 3 years it has also incorporated security products. We are importing security products needed by the sector such as analogue, CCTV and IP.

This year in ISAF our most noteworthy product on the other hand was our HD NVR kit with 4 cameras and 1.3 mp resolution.
I think the only unfortunate situation we experienced in ISAF was that our vendors and customers who are in our target group could not visit the exhibition because of the work load caused by the satellite updating. Although there has been a decrease in the number of our visitors we were pleased that the people who have come were related to the sector.

Mavili Electronic Trade and Industry Inc.

DSC04119The exhibition has passed quite well for us. High number of participants and the profile of the visitors are the main reasons that we attend ISAF every year.

This year we have attended ISAF with our products such as beam detectors, fire sensing detectors, nurse call buttons and water leakage sensing detectors. In particular, the models of our beam detectors with reflectors and receivers and transmitters used in places with high ceilings (eg. hangars, stores and basketball areas) have attracted intense interest from our customers.

We are happy that we attended ISAF again where we had the opportunity to display our products once again.

DSC04161The exhibition has gone well in general. The high number of visitors coming from cities outside Istanbul has been a positive point for us.

We as Multitek are a 25 year old company manufacturing telephone switchboards. In addition we have been also manufacturing intercom smart household automation systems for 15 years. And at the moment we have expanded our range of products since 8 months by including CCTV closed circuit camera systems in our field of business.

Our purpose in our intercom systems in particular is not only to see who comes to the door or to talk to the apartment keeper, but to provide all kinds of complicated housing complex solutions between blocks and flats, and to provide all kinds of solutions about the alarms by controlling smoke/gas detectors.

Besides, by our product named TC 70 which is our own production we have the chance to control many devices in our flat such as shutters, lights, air-conditioning and media player using our monitor via an iPad or an iPhone.

NFS Technology

DSC_1837The exhibition has passed very well and actively for us. As NFS Technology we believe that we have given the message we wished to give. In this period where IP technologies in particular are being widely used in the security sector, we believe that we are leading the sector and in this context we had to take part in ISAF. Furthermore, this exhibition has been an exhibition which we caught the opportunity to display our new products about IP technologies. It was a privilege for us to conduct one-to-one meetings with our business partners who came to visit us and with our manufacturers whose products we displayed here.

This year has been a period for us which we waited for the exhibition in order to display Avaya, the expert in network technologies. We think that Avaya is a solution that we will present to our business partners as of this year. The fact that Avaya, in consideration of its video culture, remains in the heart of the network in IP CCTV projects, in particular in large scale projects, is a guarantee that these projects will operate much more effectively and safely.

Lastly, I wish to add that mostly the companies that present solutions take part in ISAF. In the following years I believe that it will turn into an exhibition which appeals to the end users more, the stand areas will grow bigger and the concept will change in the positive way.

DSC04221Firstly I wish to point out that ISAF is a well-established exhibition which has gained a certain expertise. However, I believe that the political turmoil that took place in the past 8-9 months, the elections and economic stagnation decreased people’s need for purchase and this situation has caused a decrease in the number of people visiting ISAF.

Recently we are experiencing an important process where the main driving force in the sector which is CCTV has been transiting from analogue to IP. As you know the transition between two different models of business is not always easy. However I believe that this change will pave the way for different things in the next couple of years. I think that what is important in the sector now is not to sell a product or to become a distributor for a product but the services.

In my opinion the exhibition should take into consideration these new dynamics in the sector and conduct its studies accordingly.

Retro Security

DSC04185We are a company which not only has the capacity to address more than 7 thousand vendors in 7 regions in Turkey but also the first company to bring A HD, CVI and TVI technologies to Turkey. We had the opportunity to promote these new technologies to our customers in ISAF. We are the distributor of Yealink brand and in the exhibition we have caught the opportunity to promote this brand.

In my opinion in the near future HD technology will be at the forefront. And HD technology is divided into 3 branches as E-HD, TVI and CVI, and we as Retro security experience the advantages of having all these 3 technologies.

The products we displayed in the exhibition have been mainly products of HD CVI and IP. Despite the fact that we operate with many products in our company we have participated in the exhibition with these two themed products in order not to confuse people’s minds.

We are pleased about the attendance in the exhibition because we have caught the opportunity to meet with many of our vendors.

Sensonet Technology Ekectronic and IT Services

DSC_1578The exhibition has been very successful for us. Many of the visitors who attended were qualified people. Therefore ISAF has been a correct choice for the launch of our new brand GST. Participants and visitors who have come to our stand were very enthusiastic about fire in particular. And our aim in this field is to become the biggest distributor not only in Europe but also in the world.

For Samsung we are in the position of a distributor that achieves the highest turnover both in Turkey and in Europe. We as a company do not like to do half of what we could when we start a business. As Sensonet we are in the position of a leader in the field of security and from now on we aim to be the first about the subject of fire.

Despite the fact that GST brand has been in the market for about 12 years it was not supplied for two years for various reasons. Now that it has re-appeared in the market together with Sensonet at the back the interest shown has been high.

In the past the exhibitions were places where products were launched but now they have become places to develop relations rather than launching of a product. For this reason we are happy that we attended ISAF.

The exhibition here is very successful like the exhibitions in Beijing. Due to the fact that the video surveillance sector is quite active in this region it is nice that many companies from abroad like us are attending the exhibition and nice to see them here.

Our group of products include professional areas such as the application for traffic lights, speed applications, face recognition systems. Our products that attracted the most interest have been the speed and traffic lights applications which help the traffic police officers.

We are very content about the results. I may say that ISAF has gone well for us.

DSC_1729The first day of the exhibition was somewhat quiet because of the weather conditions however the other three days were very busy. Our stand has been full all the time as we shared our products with our business partners. For this reason the exhibition has gone significantly fruitful for us.

Despite the fact that many exhibitions are losing their effectiveness both in our country and overseas, the exhibitions that are organised about the security sector are getting more and more powerful. And ISAF is one of these exhibitions. Furthermore, the fact that the visitors are qualified, the participants are composed of distinguished companies, and the display of different products and new technologies are the factors that effect this richness.

As Tesan although we have taken part in the exhibition by many brands mainly we tried to promote Lilin brand which incorporates IP security cameras and the analogue and IP products of Ttec brand which is our own production.

In general we have presented to our customers in ISAF not only the security products but also our products about data backup, wireless communication and data security.

DSC04132For our company ISAF is progressing every year by adding more positives. Our aim is to meet with our companies, and listen to their recommendations and problems. And we meet this aim. In addition we meet with new companies and enter into new potential business processes. Similarly we had another fruitful exhibition this year.

ISAF continues to be held every year with great progress. We are met every year with a more established organisation and a more productive exhibition. Similarly we have not experienced any problems about the organisation this year. On the other hand, we have not noticed an important increase in the number of visitors from abroad. Perhaps some emphasis may be put on this issue.

This year the number of visitors has been less with a small difference compared to last year. However, in our view this does not mean that the exhibition did not achieve its goal. As long as we meet with correct contacts it means that we have been successful. And this year it has been an exhibition where we have met with correct contacts.

We have participated in the exhibition with our new products and our standard products which define us. As a result of our R&D studies every year we intent to bring our new products to the exhibition. In the same way this year as a result of our studies we were there with our new products. Among our new products were the Sliding Gate which is one of the speed passage products; our WG5 model turnstile which is our VIP passage product; and Passport Turnstile which has been completed recently and was covered in the media. As we present specific solutions in addition to standard manufacture, we deem every new project as a new product. We design and manufacture every product with the same enthusiasm. This is why we call ourselves the base for design.

All our products have received interest from our companies. However in particular our passport turnstile has drawn quite an attention from the users. Thanks to this product of ours while travelling abroad the passport check will be much quicker and more controlled. After the completion of the initial reading with the passport the users will have completed the first passage from the turnstile and then will arrive at the fingerprint reading section; and following the matching of the fingerprint to the database of Security Directorate General the passage from the turnstile will be completed. Using this method people will pass through the passport control in about 20 seconds.

DSC_1812ISAF has been a good exhibition for us. I think the fact that the visitors in general are professionals and that there is less end users is a beneficial situation both for ISAF and for us.

When I compare ISAF with Cebit that was held a week before, I may easily say that ISAF is a much better exhibition.

We as A-Global have participated in ISAF with many of our information technologies products, and we have given information to our visitors about these products. In particular our product PoE Switch has attracted great attention from the visitors coming to our stand.

Next & NextStar

DSC_0877ISAF 2014 was a good exhibition for us. We may say that participants this year were more professional, and the visitors were more informed compared to previous years.

Next & NextStar is a brand which has a very wide range of products. In terms of product topic we have participated in the exhibition with our security systems products. The fact that the devices manufactured have become wireless with the developing technology, wireless products have started to attract more attention. And among our products our wireless alarm system YE-KA 1100 E/T has attracted the most attention.

Yalçın DemirakErcan Taş – There has been a gradually increasing interest in the exhibition for 4 days and it has been an exhibition that went positive for us. Prior the exhibition we have made a group mailing work with our partners and organised informative meetings, therefore we were pleased to see them at our stand and that their interest and relations are growing and progressing in the positive direction.

Yalçın Demirak – This year we have decided to do our launchings in ISAF not in ESSEN. Therefore our CEO Mr Ludwig Bergscheiner was also present here and we did our launching together and displayed our products. At the moment we have many products which are unprecedented in terms of their quality. We are very proud that we were able to do the launching of these products and business partnership in Turkey. Furthermore we are very happy that we have taken these steps with Integral, which is our distributor and which entered in a big investment.

Our camera named GCI-KF3505B which is among our products is a product in which all elements that exist in the market may be adapted at the moment, and therefore a product where all of the latest technologies meet in a single camera. This camera which may reach the visual quality that you may obtain in studio cameras is at the moment being used in many projects because of its quality even before it is introduced to the market.

Ercan Taş – I wish to add that there are dozens of products in the portfolio of Grunding and every product is valuable in its own group of product. We are presenting ourselves here with the identity of a distributor who may produce complete solutions to our partners and wish to do business in this way.

Milestone

DSC_1697As Milestone Systems we have taken part in ISAF for the first time. We were very satisfied with our promotions in the exhibition and the visitors who have come. As a result of this we plan to participate in ISAF which will be held in 2015.

Our stand was very busy in general and greatly attracted the attention of many visitors. Besides we have carried out meetings which may result in the start of many promising projects.

We have promoted our software XProtect ® to the visitors who have come to our stand. This was the product which attracted the most attention in the exhibition.

In addition we have mainly focused on Milestone Husky ™ Series to present to our visitors. We have displayed all 3 models of our NVRs openly so that our guests could see, touch and feel.

DSC04112Our stand was overly popular this year too like every year. The increase in the interest and demand for security systems has naturally caused an increase in the attendance in the exhibition compared to previous years. In the light of these developments we have expanded our product range and the solutions we presented in order to meet the increase in the demand which will take place accordingly. I would like to emphasise that we are very pleased about the interest shown to the solutions that we pioneer.

We have classified the solutions that we presented to our business partners at our stand in ISAF to 6 main groups. Vivotek brand which is our IP based project product presents to the users a superior control and ease of usage in open and closed large spaces thanks to its advanced software support. Our Dunlop brand, which we have been acting as Turkey distributor for about 13 years, has taken its place at our stand together with analogue, IP, and HD-TVI solutions which is a new technology.

In the group of alarm systems we present to the users our Videofied brand, which is completely wireless and operates free from power and which is our security system solution, unrivalled in the world “providing alarm verification by video”. In addition to those above, we have also presented to the taste of the users and visitors our Davantis brand with regard to the environmental security, which accommodates an algorithm based software inside; Cofem, which the users may use safely and with ease in fire tenders and projects with its online graphical software; and lastly our product called CHAOS™, which is our adaptive traffic management system developed entirely in our country as software and hardware by our ISSD company.
