MAKIM has been active in Turkey since 1982 in the areas of the design, development and manufacture of electromechanical equipment. Possessing the capacity to perform all the levels of products and services it carries in its portfolio from R&D processes to design, from design to manufacture and after sales support through its advanced manufacturing infrastructure, Makim has been serving 65 countries for the past 35 years. It has countless references in 65 countries in many projects such as metro, hospitals, universities, public and private buildings.
MAKİM’s present infrastructure includes an extensive manufacturing range such as jet machining, plate processing, electronics, installations and fine casting. Makim performs all its manufacturing process within its departments all the way from ideas to R&D; design to production, sales and after sales support.
The manufacturing side of Makim includes the production of three armed turnstiles, rapid access turnstiles, full-length turnstiles, special access turnstiles, while barrier systems include hydraulic road blocks and mushroom barriers. Makim also manufactures project based special turnstiles in addition to its standard products thanks to the R&D and manufacturing infrastructure it possesses. It has been serving its dealer network since 2011 as an importer of top level products such as biometric systems, cameras, card readers, magnetic locks, buttons, card group, power sources, cable groups and guard patrol control systems in the area of access control systems.
Makim, is attending ISAF for the 12th time, promoting its own production of turnstiles and barriers, as well as biometric systems, cameras, and video diaphone systems and sliding gate systems that it is the distributor of.
Makim products are used everywhere there is a requirement for security, controlling access and obtaining reports and data being monitored. Metros, hospitals, universities, ministries, schools, correctional institutions, public and private buildings, construction sites are among areas of utilization.
